Mokey's Salon started in 1997 in downtown Jackson, MI. After a few years, Mokey, our salon's founder, moved Mokey's Salon to our current location on 17th Street. Mokey himself loved doing hair. He had lifelong friends through the clients he had. After Mokey passed away in January 2019, the salon was taken over by his sister Stacey and Amanda. They hope to continue his legacy of having a place where people can come, get their hair done, and be comfortable and relaxed. So far it's been a pleasure to honor his memory in keeping what Mokey loved going.
